Brief History : This fourth release from Elvis Presley was recorded at the Memphis Recording Service, Memphis on January 5th, 1955. Elvis and Scotty Moore played guitar, while Bill Black played base. It is hard to believe that this new unique sound was created with only these 3 instruments. The flip side however,"I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone", featured Johnny Bonnero on drums and this was recorded on December 18, 1954. Contrary to what folks thought, DJ Fontana the drummer who would help out with Elvis s during some of his live shows and would become part of the group later, never played drums on any of the 3 Sun records that featured drums.
